Price: eBayHello all, Here we have a 1963 Split Window corvette that we are reluctantly parting with. Our business has moved into a new location and funds need to be liquidated for a remodel project, otherwise we would not part with it. Its that cool!
The back story on this car is fantastic as well. I purchased an Mga from a gentleman around 10 years ago and he also had this Vette sitting in the garage. I have been trying to buy this car for the last 9 years and finally succeeded, as age caught up to him. He was the original owner, and bought the car new in Miami, Fl. The car has only been titled in one name as far as I know. When the car was purchased, Green was not an option and he had the car painted such before he took delivery from the dealership. Originally it was ordered a silver on black car, but has been green since 1963! The original owner was a police officer for the city of Miami and drove the car sparingly, and parked it in his cement floor garage in 1972. He would start it occasionally, but the last time it was tabbed was 73, still has the plates on it! Time wore on as it seems to do, and the car became a valuable storage rack in the garage, and didn’t move out of its hiding place until I bought it. Its amazing how original and untouched this car is.
The exterior of the car has some of the most amazing patina I have ever seen. While I am aware the car will probably be restored and repainted, it is so cool just the way it is and draws a huge crowd. The body seems to be very straight and its pretty neat to see the seam lines from the factory. The gaps in the doors and hood all look straight. Obviously, things are weathered and will need restoring, but the stainless is actually quite nice and would polish up. Glass is crack free and pretty decent. There is a small amount of rust in the B pillar of the car, but I have seen no place else where there is any rust through. Hinge area all looks very nice, underneath is great. Just that one spot that I see.
The interior of the car is all there but is obviously in need of restoration. Im pretty sure everything is all original, even has the original wonderbar radio. The speedo and tach cables were making a ton of noise, so they were disconnected. I believe the fuel and oil gauge are working while the battery gauge is intermittent. The lights come on when you open the door. I would assume everything will need to be inspected and some level of cleaning/restoration will need to be done. But its much easier to have an original, nothing messed with, place to start.
The engine is the numbers matching 300 horse turbo fire that the car was born with. To get it running we rebuilt the carb, changed out the alternator, starter and master cylinder, etc. But ALL ORIGINAL PARTS were kept and are included. The car actually runs pretty good. Next I was going to do a waterpump, but with our move I haven’t had time. This is not a daily driver, but it does run and stop and steer. Expect to go over some things and check out the systems as are needed.
Overall this is a special car to me and im sure it will be for the new owner. Its not often you can find a legit one owner, mostly original split. Please feel free to call me with any questions at 425-802-8682. Thank you for looking and good luck.
Here’s your chance to own the pinnacle of 60s luxury. Very few cars can turn heads like this beauty. Her style has no bounds. Even as a driver quality vehicle it still captivates the eye.
This 1961 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II, drives with grace and pace. The speedo shows only 44,633 miles, which we believe to be accurate. With a little love and attention this could be a very nice ride.
This Rolls Royce was owned by the same family since the late 60s. The previous owner drove the car regularly. When he passed away 3 years ago, the car was put into storage in a warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia. We found the car under a car cover and in the condition it is today. After some carb cleaning the car was right back into driving condition.
Now let’s go over the exterior… She shows alright from a distance, but the paint is a definite must. There’s some various cracking, scratches, etc, and vehicle of this elegance deserves only the highest level of detail. The doors, hood and boot shut nicely with very nice gaps, the body is incredibly straight as this was garaged for the life of the vehicle. The chrome is nice driver quality, but again, she is deserving of the highest level of detail. All of the lights work and the glass holds clear all the way around. Wipers work!! Windows work, but the drivers window does go up slowly.
On to the interior… The wood is good, but could use a new varnish to be perfect, but it is not cracking and is of driver quality, way better than most unrestored cars. The instruments are all original Smiths, work and are in great condition. The seats are checked and new leather would be a nice touch. The carpet and headliner are acceptable, and a cleaning would do wonders.
Engine/tranny/running gear… The engine starts quickly, but is cold blooded and likes to warm up for a couple minutes. We performed a leak down test to gauge condition of the engine and the results were fantastic! She showed between 10-15% on all cylinders according to our test and 140-145 compression across the board. This is a solid engine and goes along with the millage stated by the odometer. She could use a fine tuning to be perfect, but runs out well. Tranny shifts nicely with no noises. Brakes work well and have a nice feel. Tires probably should be replaced as they are vintage!
Overall, This is a fantastic start to an excellent project and much better than most. This is a running and driving rolls that you can enjoy today, and the Rhd”s are coming back!
Buy this car today and you won’t be disappointed, we drove the car down the freeway the other day and it felt as if we were floating on a cloud…
By the way, Miss Daisy should have owned a Rolls Royce.
VIN# 11304210007418
Here we have a stunning 1964 Mercedes 230SL Pagoda (w113) 4 speed for your consideration. The extensive receipt history paints a nice picture of a no expense spared owner, who has lovingly cared for this car with an open check book. Receipt totals are over 175,000 in the last 30 years! Needless to say, much is new. This 230 does not disappoint and drives just as good as she looks.
The body of the car has been refinished to a high level and shows beautifully. The chrome and stainless is quite nice, not quite concours level, but nice. Doors, hood, and trunk all shut nicely with nice gaps. A hard top is included in sale but needs to be refinished to reflect the condition of the car. Overall the exterior of this car shows extremely well and is ready for your local car shows.
The interior has been extensively restored some years ago and is a highlight of the car. The red interior on the white body is a superb contrast and a desirable color combo. The door light under the dash works, as does the glovebox light! The restored Becker Europa radio works beautifully and produces a warm vintage sound. Gauges have been restored and all work, even the clock. Light switches and turn signals all perform as they should. A full restoration was performed at a high level of all interior components and is a very nice place to spend your time while cruising.
The mechanicals on the car have also been fully rebuilt and all perform as intended. The steering is nice and tight, and the car drives straight and true. Suspension has been fully rebuilt and soaks up the bumps better than most new cars! Engine starts easily and runs out with plenty of power and no odd noises. Gearbox shifts perfect, and finds the gears easily. A full mechanical rebuild was performed at great expense and the results are evident. Engine bay and underside of this car are detailed nicely and show very well.
The windshield on the car could stand to be polished or replaced as it is original to the car and does not show as nicely as the rest of the car. We have a local glass shop that can perform this for around 600.00 with new glass if your interested. The convertible top is in nice shape, but does have some wear marks from being folded. But it is still nice and very usable.
All in all I would say this 230sl is definitely one of the better vintage Mercedes 230sl’s out there, and second only to the 100 point concours cars. I feel confident in saying that this is the top end of a show quality car. A large very well known dealer in our area scrutinized the car recently and thought it was one of the nicest 230’s they had seen and at a large auction should command upper 80’s to low 100’s. We have set our reserve much lower in anticipation of a quick sale. Feel free to call my cell to speak about the car at 425-802-8682. I recently drove her to my local car show and she garnered a crowd with every one saying the same thing, “what a beautiful example of a vintage Mercedes, Wish I could have a car like that”.
RW Auto Classics is so proud to offer our 1988 BMW E30 M3 up for sale. This is one clean m3 and doesn’t seem to have been abused or tracked. We actually purchased the car from a good friend who is a collector and he mostly stored it for an investment and the occasional Sunday drive. The previous owner before him is also a collector who performed routine maintenance to keep her in top running shape. This car really does show a history of meticulous ownership throughout the last 30 years to preserve her in this type of condition.
The body on the car looks beautiful in silver and shows quite nicely. Those are real Fikse wheels and look fantastic; sadly I do not have the originals. There are various small rock chips and a scratch or two but nothing major and does little to detract from the overall appearance. This is a very straight car and panel gaps all look nice and line up well. I see zero rust evident anywhere on the body or underneath, not even in the dreaded windshield where rot frequents these cars so often. Overall the exterior condition is definitely ready for a local show and will be nicer than most!
The interior of this E30 is fantastic. No cracks on the dash, the seats are beautiful, as are the door panels. Power windows work, radio works, sunroof works, everything seems to work minus the AC needing a recharge. The interior on this BMW is definitely above average and shows extremely nice.
The engine bay is just how it was intended to be! Nothing aftermarket that I see, and all has been left stock! A ton of these cars have had so many mods so it’s pretty rare to find one in nice original shape. Engine sounds great and settles into a nice idle quickly. Tranny shifts through the gears smoothly. Driving this car really is a ton of fun as it feels so well balanced.
All in all, this is a wonderful collector quality E30 m3. And the good ones have been appreciating steadily for years. She’s not a 100 point concourse car, but who would want to drive that anyway? This is a super nice well maintained driver that’s ready to go! Please feel free to call with any questions, and good luck bidding.
