Every Saturday at Redmond Town Center, in Redmond WA, thousands of rare and exotic cars gather together to celebrate heritage and provide a sanctuary for enthusiasts to meander the streets and share in their passion with fellow car-lovers. The RTC show is regarded as one of the largest regular gatherings of classic and exotic cars in the country and they maintain a set of rules and criteria for entering cars, but anyone is welcome and entrance is free for spectators.
We had the opportunity to take one of our rarest acquisitions to the show this year and it was a blast! We brought our 1993 Jaguar XJR-S, one of only 100 ever made for the US Market and when we arrived, we were greeted by one of the volunteers who happened to be a Jag enthusiast and he recognized this rare bird right away. He got on his walkie and signaled to the rest of the crew and they guided us to a space which was front and center on the main promenade. This is an event full of a wide variety of cars, including Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Shelby, Aston Martin, among many others, yet our Jaguar XJR-S was turning heads all the way as we were guided to our space. Its not often that a few regular guys get to feel like celebrities, but it certainly put an ear to ear smile on our faces that we couldn't wipe off for days! If you have an opportunity to attend this event, it is definitely worthwhile and we will be going back again and again!
